Finding: If a character uses an elemental skill and sits in a chair at the same time (pressing F and E at the same time for PC users), while the skill will not activate (and as such the skill cooldown will not start), the game will still "treat" the skill as if it activated, which causes effects like Crimson Witch 4-piece to stack.(edited)
Significance: new theoretical highest DPS for pyro characters who wouldn't normally be able to stack CW's 4-piece bonus, such as Hu Tao and Xiangling
I haven't yet tested if this works with the Heart of Depths set, but I will be testing whether it works with the Noblesse Set.

when he starts his ult
Zhongli's ult has already started an offensive sequence while Diluc is still in zoom-in

It probably won't work with climbing animation start then since the skills have to "kind of" go off. Wheras with climbing it's more like it prevents you from using the skill

And yeah I don’t think it works with climbing
I think that the conditions for it to work are that the effect can’t happen immediately
Diluc doesn’t launch his Phoenix immediately, but Zhongli summons his meteor as soon as you press Q

prob because diluc's skill causes hitboxes to come out nearly immediately
if the hitboxes for skill are delayed, chair cancelling works
