Finding:
Character base poise or stagger res is base on the character's weapon type (melee and range).(edited)
evidence:
For range units using Fischl and Yanfei vs a basic hilli mob(edited)
Significance: claymore, sword, and Polearm units has the same base poise.
Catalyst and bow has the same base poise.
Melee units has higher base poise compared to range units.
Note:
I have not tested the outlier unit being Childe due to not having him. So idk if he changes his base poise between modes.

base poise doesn't change
Actually, the base poise is upper bound, not a lower bound.
According to the log from devkit, a counter will collect all poise damages. When the value in the counter is above the threshold, the enemy will be into the vulnerable state.
