i just checked. nothing as well from the reported description.
venti's ult randomly pulls in birds and eats them so you get free meat during commissions
so maybe people are getting confused with incidental bird
however, i think we can safely say there is at least one permadead crane, if not two permadead ducks.(edited)

I want to test if video quality setting affects how close a plyer can get before it dies
because I've walked through that area many times to collect the free fowl and have never once seen the bird at all, let alone that close

Bug: At least two of the birds (one near Azhdaha and one in Guyun) die very often of drowning, usually before the play even sees them, though their death is also occasionally observed, and they may even sometimes survive.
