Theory/Finding/Bug: Character hitboxes extend beyond their model until the weapon floating behind their back Evidence: Shots from ranged enemies seem to register beyond the character model until the floating weapon behind the unit’s back. For example, when the Pyroslinger shoots at the gap between Ganyu’s back and her floating bow, it apparently hits. All evidence and testing are shown on the videos below.
Significance: By knowing this, hopefully we can have a better understanding about how far the hitbox of our character model reaches. While this is certainly niche, this can possibly give some people that wants to do a meme run with their character such as a no damage run, an advantage with this findings.

This is an interesting ticket since we currently don't have any submissions regarding hitboxes of characters. May I ask you if you would like to expand a little bit on this topic and check if its also the case on the front of the character? I think the current mist dungeon event will help you a bit since there are lasers on that course which might help you in testing

Tested with the front of the character hitbox like asked, I'm not sure if that's really hitting empty air or just the character model

I've been testing whether the sides have a hitbox or not as well, but I'm not entirely sure If it's hitting before the character model or not

After looking at the footage, it seems that the front and back sides are of equal size. Because of ping/visual limitations the side parts of the hitboxes can't really be determined. That said I can verify this ticket now since I also did some tests, seems like the exact bounds are just a bit larger at exactly the same dimensions as Zhongli's Shield radius.(edited)
