hello! we're just trying to correct the tcl as it says there that venti Q does 16 infused ticks but we're only getting 15 most of the time, 14 rarely and we couldnt tell why that happens atm; if you'd like to contribute clips, that would be greatly appreciated! if you'll be doing multiple clips, ideally separate them by the number of infused ticks, merge them then upload to youtube so if you for example only got 14's and 15's, two youtube links would be needed.

Finding: The Additional Elemental DMG from Venti's Burst Procs 14-15 Times

Evidence:
As of January 14, 2022, both the TCL and the KQM Venti Guide states that Venti's Burst will do 16 elemental ticks regardless of whether the absorption's delayed or not, or how much delay there is. However, after multiple tests done by a few people, none of us so far got past 15 ticks which seems to be the common result, with 14 ticks rarely occurring and why it happens is something we cannot explain at the moment. We looked for an evidence for the 16 ticks in TCL to no avail; What we found instead was u/soup420#1634's entry (https://library.keqingmains.com/evidence/characters/anemo/venti#venti-q-late-absorption-bug) and the clips they have here also showed 14-15 elemental ticks.

mcpie said its possible that its possible for some damage instances to not give a visual feedback (in the form of a damage number) if they happen too fast, but i dont know how to make an acceptable evidence for that other than what mcpie said (doing a testing where an enemy shouldnt die after receiving damage from all the damage thrown at it with venti doing 14 ele ticks but it dies) but the problem with that is
- we dont know how to reliably make "14 ticks" happen
- its too much work and im not sure im willing to go as far as that for this ticket
if someone else is ill gladly pass the baton
or if someone could think of an easier method thatd be nicer (edited)

in my game i can only get 14 for cryo hydro, can you test with a pyro or electro chara and see if you get 15?

42 pyro dmg near the top of his burst is the swirl, I don't know what that random 63 is. Venti also has no artifacts and a 1* level 1 weapon.

While it may seem that there is a correlation between the number of elemental ticks and the fps the game is set on, it is also currently speculated that some damage numbers may just simply be not showing up either because of there being too little interval between the damage instances or because of an indeterminate reason, which could mean that Venti's Burst may be dealing 15 elemental ticks regardless of how many damage instances from it showed on the screen. This may also be of something to consider with all the other weird occurrences that involves FPS the game client is running on like Lisa losing Ult Ticks and such. While it could be something work looking into, the main goal of this ticket is to correct what is currently in the TCL and I believe that it should be a separate ticket of its own.

verified via video evidence, there can be a discussion of what exactly the assumption should be for calcs here because there is no consistency. FPS being a factor once again seems like a solid theory
