so basically idk where it went but i remember smth abt zhongli's stone stele attracting enemy hyperblooms, whereas other constructs such as geo mc boulders and albedo's solar isotoma do not exhibit this behavior

Just leaving a msg here so I remember for later but I got a clip of enemy hb targeting other enemies/enemy constructs
Also worth checking if enemy hb will target overworld objects like torch, electro crystal, etc since those are targetable by player hb irrc
Also if overworld objects like electro crystal can proc hb we should also check if it follows enemy targeting as well

No big deal, doesn't rly matter
I can test all the 4* on the current list but don't have access to any of the lim 5*
Might need to ask around or post a hunt (unless you happen to have all of them). However, I think it's unlikely that several of them are targetable
My current hypothesis is that the object must have a hitbox that can have an element applied
So the best candidates would be Baron Bunny and possibly Ushi (idr if Ushi can have aura)
Muji Muji Daruma is also likely targetable, since it has some hitbox with collision
I'll test those tmrw unless someone else gets to it first

Update after some testing:
I believe my previous hypothesis was correct, in that constructs must be able to have an element applied to count as a hyperbloom target. Additionally, it appears that enemy constructs that can have an element applied also count as a valid target for enemy hyperblooms, resulting in situations where enemies may hit each other with hyperbloom. Evidence below

i would think its possible for crystals to trigger HB, since they deal electro dmg to you and can be used to fill parametric, implying they apply elements even to other things and not just deal dmg

but i tried it only with the Electro Crystal not an Electro enemy. I'm not sure if it's changes anything since the Electro Crystal never targets my character so i'm afraid that its possible that my tests with Electro Crystal to DISPROVE that it works are a bit lacking?

@Seraph is this fine? like if the crystal doesn't target it is it definite proof that the summons cant be targeted by HB? or do i need to use an electro enemy. my worry is just that maybe maybe they are considered an extension of our character. Since HB from electro crystal doesn't target our character while an electro enemy does, maybe the result might be different there?

@Seraph I think we shouldn't test it against Electro Crystals and use enemies instead because I'm pretty sure they are targeting Klee's bombs but when i did it against the Electro Crystals it went for the enemy. my PC is too laggy to try something else right now

It's confusing to me. Sometimes it targets the Klee bombs and sometimes it doesn't. It didn't work for Aloy and Kokomi either so i'm afraid if it's just not working in that scenario or if that it doesn't target them

This is hard to test because the projectile goes very high up before coming down so it can go above her screen

it seems it did go through screen though there at least 1 HB flew through it when it hit the electro crystal on side instead of ning at end

yeah i was thinking the same thing but they just targeted the ceiling
caught a really weird interaction in which hyperbloom was triggered by beast, targeted the block, but it was being absorbed

they can't be infused with element ig so makes sense. also made sure that it was the pyro guy's crystal that i tested so it's not the electro guy's construct

I have concluded that it was likely tracking an electro-infused radish. I have inadvertently gotten yaoyao radish targeting footage twice through those clips. yaoyao has now been banned from further tests
hmm. idk what things we have left to test that actually do hold an element. i'm likely going to just continue working through the list when bored
