Finding: i made a mistake in my previous freeze resistance ticket claiming that freeze res reduces the freeze aura gauge, which then reduces the duration. this is not true, freeze res does not actually affect freeze gauge and is only taken into account in the duration calculation. The corrected formula is in the attached image below.

on an enemy with 50% freeze res, if 1u electro is applied after proccing 2u freeze, the duration of the freeze is halved, meaning the freeze gauge is still 2u and not affected by freeze res. if freeze res reduced the freeze gauge, the sc wouldve ended the freeze immediately.
