Finding: Heizou's E anemo gauges is fucking bugged :OMEGALUL:

Evidence: As shown in this youtube video (https://youtu.be/3pQwE7P0jQw) the following can be observed:

At C0-C5:
0 stacks E – 2U
1 stack E – 2U
2 stacks E – 2U
3 stacks E – 2U
4 stacks E – 1U (yes, the anemo gauge REDUCES when fully charged :keqOMEGALUL: )

BUT, at C6, the bug gets fixed — 4 stacks also becomes 2U

This finding is also backed by datamine (first pic is 4 stacks at C0-5, has 25 elementdurability; second pic is 4 stacks at C6, has 50 elementdurability)

PATCHED – 4 stacks is always 2U now

Significance: I am 90% sure that this is unintended. We should be reporting to mhy to get it patched (or not, if the lower anemo gauge when fully charged somehow benefits him)

Heizou ends animation at roughly 5.2s
Significance: Combos would be a better way to obtain all 4 stacks as charging takes so long it likely results in a dps loss

Finding:
Heizou keeps the Declension stacks obtained from holding Heartstopper Strike (Skill) even if he's interrupted while casting. This applies to getting knockbacked, frozen or bubbled.

This will be fixed later and is currently listed in known issues:

There is an issue with the character Shikanoin Heizou's Elemental Skill whereby when you hit opponents under the effect of 4 Declension stacks (i.e. the Conviction effect), the elemental effect produced might be abnormal. After the fix, the elemental effect produced by the Elemental Skill at 4 Declension stacks will be consistent with that of other Declension stacks. This issue will be fixed in a later update. Please stay tuned for future notices.

Finding: Heizou's normal attack, charged attack and elemental skill can damage ores and Geo Constructs of enemies. His burst can't.

something interesting I found, swirling objects doesnt give Heizou any stacks
:keqshrug: according to the talent description it should, it doesn say swirl damage or swirling an enemy

finding:
When swapping out of CA, it's slightly faster to n1 cancel into a swap than doing it normally.

ca start is when the party icons grey out, swap is the frame the swap occurs
saves 6-8 frames

this includes my ping, which generally has an 8 frame delay. Interestingly, on the n1 cancel swaps, it was 10 frames for some reason. I'm curious for low and high ping users to see how their results compare

conclusion:
may help refine some rotation timings when going for reference vids to calc from. the time saved is nearly his remaining n1 startup time (for my ping), so it may often be worth it to n1 cancel, but delay the swap input a few frames so it occurs during hitlag, essentially netting you a free n1
Heizou swap from CA comparison (buffer vs n1 cancel)
Using n1 out of CA before timing a swap is a little faster than buffering the swap during the CA. It saves 6-8 frames from my testing, it's unclear how much ping may affect it.

normally if you input a swap you're unable to take actions, but i guess since it's buffered when swaps aren't allowed, it's different

heizou can get declension stacks easily without swirling by:
1. hold his e, wait until it reaches 4
2. immediately open the map before he casts his e, and teleport somewhere
3. stacks

Finding: Iris explosion caps out at 2 hits per target, excluding the Iris explosion from the affected Target.

- 12 Pyro damage
- 1x each explosion, 2x collateral from nearby explosion, therefore 1* 4+2 * 4=12x damage numbers

Finding: This is wrong, there is no damage cap for iris explosions

Evidence: Did the same exact test, and got 16 numbers. There was clearly something wrong with your test. (full video https://imgur.com/a/bl1nqiJ)

Datamine also shows that there is no ICD tag on the iris explosions, meaning there is no damage cap. (damage caps are a component of ICD)
