Finding: HMC's burst can hit dendro cores. Combined with the (very small) aoe nature of damage from burst, this can be used to increase damage output.

Significance: Make HMC viable again (this is copium hoyo's probably gonna fix this before this gets published)

does it work with other entities or only with dendro cores?

it works with multiple enemies tightly grouped rather than dendro cores yea
my interpretation is that the hitbox has a cd for ticking, but the cd is per target while the tick does dmg to all enemies in the hitbox
and dendro cores are considered "targets"
because that's how they coded them to be hyperbloom/burgeon-able

so there is chance this might get 'bugfixed' like barbara
although barbara was nerfed by limiting the hydro ICD
and this isnt about traveler application but damage so they might do a different nerf or 'bugfix'

yt auto translated subtitles actually did pretty well on the taila video for me, didn't watch the other ones
well, not that i can verify the subtitles were accurate to the original narration, but the subtitles were pretty coherent and logical at least :keksweat:
