Finding:
Items don't care about physics, when they have dropped on the ground they will no longer be updated (swirl etc exist but if not interacted won't update). This can be seen by dropping water levels with items on it, such as killing a flying enemy. When the water level drops the item remains at the original position, being unaffected by gravity.

this can also be observed in gaa
killing an enemy on a platform then destroying the platform will not have the drops effected by gravity
i think you should have a clip of anemo abilities or w/e moving the floating pickups, though
i dont have a clip of the interaction in gaa, only a screenshot

it can happen in inazuma as well, when you get the commissions that have hilichurl platforms on the water
not just the gaa
