HP loss (and MH stacks) is ping related. Can you also show that this does work when you shoot from far away and give the arrow lots of travel time?

ok after some more testing, this is right just that you're usually close enough to where hat spawns before mh drains
i don't know how ping affects this and i can't simulate high ping to test
can someone with 20-40 ping test this at different ranges

every shots should be the same 27k with chevy or 22k with suc
if you go to any of these hat dmg it should always be the crit

it's ping related so
the amount of time between the arrow firing and his hp going down is delayed by ping
his hp has to go down before the hat spawns for it to snapshot the cr

yeah higher ping would mean you need a longer travel time to get the snapshot
with a medium amount of ping it would depend on your specific range
but with super low ping it would be very consistent to get the snapshot unless you're like point blank
and super high ping would consistently miss the snapshot unless you're very far
