Theory: Determining whether the 3rd instance of Bloom DMG would crit if there are more than 2 Bloom triggers occurring at the same time (or within the 2 DMG instance only window)
Needed Characters:
・Nahida
↳ Constellation 2 Mandatory
・Xinyan/Rosaria
↳ Constellation 1 Mandatory
・Candace

Details:
Trigger 3 Bloom reactions with at Xinyan/Rosaria under the effect of Candace's Elemental Burst then trigger all Bloom reactions at the same time (or at least within the window of time where only 2 Bloom DMG would be dealt). Determine if the DMG displayed is a non-crit, then check if the Constellation 1 of Xinyan/Rosaria has triggered. If it has, then the 3rd Bloom DMG crits.

Misc Questions:
・~~Does Burgeon count? If so, would make testing a lot easier with Xinyan.~~ It may count, will test as well.
・Does Hyperbloom count? I do not remember any character with on crit effects and could deal Electro

Not NZ but I'll go out on a limb and say that burgeon counts because it also shares the 2 damage instances per .5 seconds thing

somewhat related basis for this:
Rosaria C1 can possibly trigger on trees (only observation though when chopping trees and her rhythm changed ever so slightly that I don't get the 3rd piece of wood), if there is something in the evidence library on Rosaria for this or a finding of it can also say it here

Nothing to do with current ticket, but try a 5% crit rate Rosaria and then a 100% crit rosaria and then do frame counts with no tree then hit a tree and do frame counts off the tree if you are assuming the effect happened.

Xinyan should also be at 5% crit just in case for the burgeon test

ive definitely tried a small test til i realized candace burst really could fuck me over so thats why i wanted xinyan

yea i also removed the artis of rosaria for a bit

but switching to xinyan now that burgeon is in the table

relying purely on bloom is tough since you need 3 cores to trigger which means at least enough hydro to apply 3 cores worth and have to wait for them to trigger at the same time WHILE making sure they arent moving and is not dead

I don't remember if rosaria gets any visual indication of the C1 working, but Xinyan does get the buff arrows

so it should be very easy to see on her

and you arent a dummy like me who decided to use the gilded dreams domain where there are 3 fairly mobile enemies that can apply elemental effects as well as that random aura

just reset on abyss floor 11 first chamber or something. There is a big group there at the beginning. and you can reset quickly

easy burst reset too so now i dont have to stack ER on my level 20 candace

and can focus on full hp so that she at least lives something while testing

I did a test run. 11 still works just have to kill the slimes first. Let me upload a video. No C2 Nahida but you get the general idea.

My candace has noblesse on, so that's the reason for the arrows. Make sure to take it off.

If it's just candace Q, then you can easily see xinyan not get any buff arrows until a crit hit

Ok I just remembered a thought as to a 3 enemy thing
How do I determine if only Bloom 1 and 2 triggered and dealt DMG
I am only shown 2 numbers, but do not know which core it came from

what you are aiming for is 2 small numbers and then the invisible crit hit

if you see a crit hit then you have to restart

hmmm true but i g it just muddles it a bit since all cores could not trigger a crit and enemy 1 could get hit with core 1 and 2 dmg and enemy 2 could get hit with core 2 and 3 dmg

the test 2 should be much clearer and there shouldnt be any other things that would give xinyan the buff arrows unless ofc i am missing something again

btw don't worry about burning criting interferes with your tests, it doesn't proc on crit effects for whatever reason

Theory: Whether Bloom-related Reaction DMG under DMG ICD can trigger on-crit effects

Evidence:

Explanation: Xinyan C1 triggers when a crit is triggered by her, and Nahida C2 Crit on Bloom and Bloom related Reactions count. The testing determines whether the 3rd instance of a bloom-related reaction triggered at the same time would cause Xinyan's C1 to trigger, even if the DMG for it would be dismissed/ignored due to the 2 hit DMG Instance ICD.

First video at 1:57 and 6:40 shows that Xinyan receives buff arrows (indicating her C1 has activated), despite not having any large numbers indicating critical DMG being dealt.
Second Video at 1:45 also shows the same behavior, with better control testing.

Conclusion: Bloom-related Reaction DMG under DMG ICD can still trigger certain on-crit effects such as Xinyan C1.

Significance: Better understanding of on-crit interactions with reactions.

theoretically yes but we have no way of getting 0 dmg

what happens is that the DMG instance is dropped/immune of the enemy
